The difference in working principle

When the vertical grinding mill is in operation, the materials entering the mill fall onto the grinding disc. Under the action of centrifugal force, they move uniformly towards the edge. When passing through the roller grinding area, large pieces of materials are directly crushed under the pressure of the grinding rollers. The crushed materials pass through the separator. Under the action of the rotor blades, the coarse particles that do not meet the standards are returned to the grinding disc for grinding, while the fine powder that meets the standards is discharged out of the grinding mill along with the airflow, completing the grinding operation.

When the ring roller grinding mill is in operation, the grinding materials enter from between the main machine and the classifier. After being ground by multiple layers of the ring rollers of the main machine, they reach the lower part of the main machine. Due to the gap formed between the main machine shell and the grinding ring seat, under the negative pressure of the system, the powder is drawn from the gap to the classifier for classification. The remaining coarse powder after classification falls into the grinding main machine for further grinding, and the qualified powder is discharged outside the machine to complete the grinding operation.

Differences in internal structure

The ring roller mill is a machine where the grinding rollers installed on the turntable in the main machine cavity rotate around the central axis. Under the action of centrifugal force, the grinding rollers swing horizontally outward, thereby pressing the grinding rings tightly. The materials pass through the gap between the grinding rollers and the grinding rings and are crushed and ground by the rolling of the grinding rollers. Its rolling pressure is about twice as high as that of a Raymond mill with the same power, and the production volume will also increase.

The vertical grinding mill integrates crushing, drying, grinding, powder selection and conveying. The system design is simple and reasonable, greatly reducing the total investment in equipment. In addition, the vertical grinding mill is fully sealed and operates under negative pressure, with no dust leakage. The environment is clean and the emission standards far exceed those of foreign countries.

Differences in performance characteristics

The ring roller mill production line adopts an open circuit system, which effectively reduces the heat generated during the grinding of the machine body, resulting in good powder quality and stable equipment operation. Compared with ordinary mills, the ring roller mill operates stably and reliably in the grinding chamber. There are no rolling bearings or screws in the grinding chamber, so there is no problem of easy damage to bearings and other sealing parts. It avoids the problem of screws loosening easily and damaging the machine, and is environmentally friendly and pollution-free.

The vertical grinding mill has low operating costs, low construction expenses, easy and reliable operation, and strong drying capacity. It uses gas to convey materials. When grinding materials with high moisture content, the inlet air temperature can be controlled to ensure that the materials meet the production requirements of the equipment. Moisture can also be dried inside the vertical mill to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
